What you’ll experience (60 total hours · 30/week of full language immersion)

  • Spanish Language: Classes sharing a fantastic immersion experience.
  • Salsa & Performing Arts : Professional salsa caleña training with a performance focus.
  • Wellness & Sports: Yoga, aerobics, and movement sessions at Centro Loyola.

City & Nature (2 full-day tours)

  • Urban day: Historic center, Cristo Rey, San Antonio, Bulevar del Río, Mercado Alameda, cable car, and holiday lights.
  • Nature day: Farallones National Park / Pance—hiking, river time, and birdwatching.

Language component & certification

  • Methodology: Communicative, intercultural, and experiential.
  • Capstone per level: Feria diary, cultural chronicle, or mini-blog.
  • Tutoring: One-to-one support for targeted progress.
  • Certificate of participation with documented contact hours.

À propos des cours d'espagnol, je trouve que ce sont des cours vraiment super sympas et enrichissants. En fait, ce qui m'a particulièrement plu dans les cours d'espagnol, c'est qu'on ne se concentre pas uniquement sur la langue. The Spanish Language Program for Foreigners at Javeriana University in Cali has been an outstanding experience for me. It has allowed me to immerse myself not only in the Spanish language, but also in the richness of Colombian culture.

 I have participated in a program called Spanish as a Foreign Language. One of my classes is Spanish 1, which offers a group class and private lessons taught by a highly professional professor. Both the group class and the private lessons are very interactive, very structured, and very enticing to keep me engaged in Spanish. The private lessons are tailored specifically to my needs, giving me the opportunity to boost my confidence even more in Spanish.

The program also engages me to participate in other classes such as salsa and physical fitness. I find salsa very enjoyable, and physical fitness helps me stay in shape. The university has a very cool cultural atmosphere, making it the perfect place to hang out, and there are also lots of activities to experience.
